Kaizen Herb

What is Kaizen?

Kaizen is a Japanese term meaning continuous improvement: making small, considered changes over time. Through Kaizen Herb, I explore that idea through everyday food habits and an interest in plants.

Kaizen Herb is a botanical-wellness initiative inspired by the philosophy of continuous improvement and simple everyday habits.

The Kaizen Herb philosophy

Simple Habits.
Better Living.

The philosophy behind Kaizen Herb is straightforward: thoughtful choices can become part of an everyday routine. Moringa is the starting point for this botanical initiative.

Discover Moringa

Moringa oleifera, also known as the drumstick tree, is native to the Indian subcontinent and is grown across tropical and subtropical regions. Its leaves are used as a leafy vegetable in a range of traditional cuisines.

Fresh leaves can be cooked into soups, stews and other dishes. Dried leaves can also be milled into a powder for use as a food ingredient.

Nutritional Qualities

Moringa leaves contain a range of nutrients and naturally occurring plant compounds. Their composition varies with the growing conditions, processing and preparation.

Vitamins & carotenoids
The leaves contain folate, vitamin C and carotenoids, including beta-carotene. Drying and cooking can change the amounts retained.
Minerals
Calcium, potassium, magnesium and iron are among the minerals reported in moringa leaves.
Plant nutrients
Moringa leaves also contain protein and plant compounds such as polyphenols. Their presence does not establish a specific health outcome.

This is general information about moringa leaves, not a product-specific nutritional analysis or medical advice.
